30th Street Station was built from 1929 till 1934. It is on the west side of the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. It replaced the Broad Street Station. The roof is 95 feet high with beautiful chandeliers. It is art deco style. 30th Street Station is used for transportation by train. It is special because it has been around for so long and thousands of people ride it every day. You can ride the train to many places like New York City and Washington DC. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Many movies have been filmed there like Trading Places and Witness. I hope you ride their trains and see the historic station.
